The Tale of Lamar A. Love: We'll Be Alright

Hello! My name is Joi Turner, I am sixteen years old and I live in Miami, Florida. I wrote and published "The Tale of Lamar A Love: We'll Be Alright" in the summer of 2022. My love for reading started at a very early age. As I got older, I wanted to read about more characters that represented me. After talking with other readers, specifically teen readers, I learned that they wanted to be properly represented in books too. I created "The Tale of Lamar A. Love" for every person that has ever felt like they don't fit in the elaborate puzzle that is our world.
